Leeds is the cultural, financial and commercial centre of the West Yorkshire area of England, located in the north-central part of the country. With (close/near) to 800,000 inhabitants, it is the third most (populous/popular) city in all of the United Kingdom. In the past decade or so, it has even (became/become) one of the largest financial centres in England outside of London. Though not a traditionally big tourist (destiny/destination), Leeds does have some landmarks and (attainments/attractions) worth seeing, many of which are set in and around the city's two central (squares/boxes) - Millenium Square and City Square. Those that are interested in the city's (and region's) history, should (visitors/visit) the Armley Mills, an (example/type) of a typical 16th century Northern English mill, which is also an historical museum.
