Kids Story & Bedtime Video Channels

33 gentle, narrative episodes for quiet time and bedtime, from acclaimed picture-book authors, Oscar-nominated studios, and trusted broadcasters like the BBC and PBS.

About these channels These aren't built as English lessons the way the songs and educational channels are, but well-told stories are still real listening practice: full sentences, natural pacing, and a range of accents a child gets used to just by watching. Each page says a little about what kind of English the storytelling itself offers, things like simple narrated sentences, natural dialogue, and so on. Most of these are official adaptations of real, published children's books or broadcaster-commissioned shows, so you'll also find real authors and illustrators, award-winning studios, and long-running institutions like the BBC and PBS mixed in alongside a few small, independent creators. A couple of picks (Bluey especially) skew closer to 5–7 than pure toddler content, and we say so on the page itself.

Curious what we left out, and why? Some of the biggest names in kids' YouTube, the ones you've almost certainly heard of, didn't make this list. Rather than just leaving them off silently, we wrote up our reasoning for each one on our Channels We Don't Recommend page.
Check out our "Keeping Kids Safe on YouTube" guide. Covers what to look for in any channel, plus the settings and habits that actually make a difference.
Know a great channel we missed? We're always looking for more channels run by native or highly fluent near-native English speakers. Email us at info@learnenglishfeelgood.com and tell us what you'd add.
