Change each SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE sentence into a PRESENT CONTINUOUS TENSE sentence.
Example: I play guitar. = I am playing guitar.

3. Alex cleans the garage. = Alex the garage.

4. Peter and Mary answer the teacher. = Peter and Mary the teacher.

5. My friends do their lessons. = My friends their lessons.

8. Tim buys toys for his dog. = Tim toys for his dog.

9. The bus leaves tomorrow morning. = The bus tomorrow morning.

GRAMMAR REVIEW! Present continuous (also known as the 'present progressive') tense

Structure:
Subject + am/is/are + verb-ing

Examples:
I am eating.
She is working.
They are playing.

When to use it:
• Actions happening right now:
He is watching TV (at this moment).
• Temporary actions:
I am staying with a friend this week.
• Future plans (with a set time):
We are meeting them at 6 PM.
• Trends or changing situations:
The climate is getting warmer.

Common Mistakes to Avoid:
Generally not used with non-action (stative) verbs (e.g. know, like, believe):
❌ I am knowing him.
✅ I know him.
