The subject pronouns are: I, you, he, she, it, we, they.

He, she, or it?
Use he for men and boys, she for women and girls, and it for things, animals, and ideas.
My sister called. ______ sounded happy. (she)
The dog is hungry. ______ wants food. (it)

We or they?
Use we when you're part of the group. Use they when you're not.
______ are going to the cinema. (I'm going too, so: we)
______ are at the restaurant. (I'm not there, so: they)
