A second set of 20 passive causative sentences. Complete the passive causative form of each sentence by supplying the correct past participle. This exercise includes both have and get constructions, as well as question and negative forms.

The passive causative — extended practice
The passive causative (have/get + object + past participle) is one of the most natural ways to describe everyday arrangements in English: getting things repaired, cleaned, decorated, or done professionally.
The transformation pattern:
Question: “Did your brother clean the counters?”
Passive causative: “No, he had the counters cleaned.”
Get vs have in the passive causative:
Both are grammatically correct and interchangeable in most contexts. Get is more common in informal and spoken English:
“I need to have my eyes tested.” (slightly more formal)
“I need to get my eyes tested.” (everyday conversational English)
In question and negative forms:
“Did you have your hair cut?” “I haven’t had it done yet.”
“She didn’t get the windows cleaned.”
Common irregular past participles in this context:
feed → fed • move → moved • water → watered • prepare → prepared • write → written • cut → cut
